main requirement is to find a place on your property that is clear
of trees and other obstructions so that the satellite
dish will have a clear shot at the satellite itself.

and
hold up a compass, the satellite will be at 241
degrees magnetic which is in a South West direction..

Next
look up 27 degrees vertically along that bearing.
If you had amazing
vision, you would be looking at the satellite.
